This particular policy is a milestone in our Association’s work, marking one of the first structured efforts at the national medical association level in Trinidad and Tobago to highlight the intersection of climate change and health. It underscores three core priorities:
• building climate resilience in health facilities;
• equipping physicians with knowledge to address climate-sensitive health risks;
• promoting sustainability in healthcare delivery.
This development reflects our commitment to advancing public health, ensuring healthcare preparedness, and positioning physicians as leaders in shaping a resilient future.
